IP Drop List Project

This project helps in tracking and managing IP addresses that have violated specific policies. It includes a system for logging incidents and managing an IP drop list.

Components of the Project

• drop.txt - Contains the current version of the IP drop list.
• tickets.txt - Logs all the tickets created for policy violations.
• ticketmaster.sh - Script to create a new ticket for an IP address violation.
• ticketmaster.html - Documentation on how to use the tickets.sh script.
• policies.txt - Lists all the policies against which IP addresses are checked.
• policymaster.sh - Script to aid in managing policies.
• policies.html - Documentation on using the policies script.

Additional Drop Lists

There are other droplists: (use at your own risk):

• edrop.txt - Extra IP spaces which may be linked to legit traffic (like aws/google)
• tor.txt - Tor exit nodes which have broken a policy.

Using the Project

When a policy violation is observed, a ticket is created using the tickets.sh script. This ticket is logged in tickets.txt. The drop.txt file is the authoritative list of currently dropped IPs.

If someone is listed in drop.txt and believes it to be a mistake, they can contact me. Upon review, if the IP is to be removed from the list, a ticket noting the removal will be created and the IP will be removed from drop.txt.

Public access to the tickets

The tickets are not publically accessible (for security reasons). However, I will happily share the ticket upon reqest.
